I closed out 2018 with two big book donations to help ensure that young kids have a chance to discover racing and facilitate their growth in reading acumen in the process.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Foundation:
Over 400 copies of "The Spectacle - Celebrating the History of the Indianapolis 500" were donated to the museum to be used as part of their educational outreach programs. As I close out sales of the book, I'll hopefully be able to donate a few more to reach a nice even 500.
This Charlotte, NC based foundation focuses on getting books into the hands of underprivileged kids with limited books of their own at home. From pre-school through high school, they strive to give at least two books a year to the kids they serve.
Right before Christmas Chip Ganassi Racing and I dropped off over 1,600 copies of "Kyle Loves Racing" and 450 of the "Kyle Loves Racing" coloring book. I also brought over 100 copies of "The Spectacle" to grow some IndyCar fans in the South!
